This position is a leadership role covering the EMEA region for IT audit at a €33bn+ organisation. Responsibilities

  • Help drive continuous development of the IT Audit department, bringing greater efficiency and security to the business. Trialing emerging technologies and innovative audit practices.
  • Manage and coach junior members of the team. Co-ordinating and delegating roles from project to project and being a vocal point of the department.
  • Execute and lead end to end IT audits covering areas such as ITGC, cloud infrastructure, SAP and Cyber Security.
  • Identify and assess IT-related risks, collaborating to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Managing and maintaining high level stakeholder engagements across different areas of the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT leaders globally to gather information, assess controls, and provide valuable insights for enhancing IT governance.
  • Ensure IT practices align with regional and global regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Manage and coordinate international travel requirements for on-site audits, fostering a global perspective and understanding of diverse IT environments.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in IT Audit/Risk Management in a Big4 or Internal environment.
  • Certifications in IT Audit or Information Security topics are preferred (e.g. ITIL, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CIA).
  • Has relevant university degree in Computer Science, Management Engineering ect.
  • Strong understanding of both IT General Controls and Application Controls. Exposure to other topics such as SAP and Information Security are also preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex issues to senior management, both orally and in writing, in an accurate, well-organised and logical manner.
  • Must be fluent in English

  • Collaborative individual who enjoys working as part of a team and is able to lead individuals and projects to a high level
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
